Auto-Editor App v6.2.0
October 17, 2026
- Premiere Pro's toolbar in NLE mode, grouped into its flyouts (hold or right-click a tool) and on its keys: Track Select Forward and Backward (a, Shift+a), Ripple Edit (b), Rolling Edit (n), Rate Stretch (r), Remix, Slip (y), Slide (u), Pen (p), Rectangle, Ellipse, Polygon, Ellipse/Rectangle/Pen masks, Zoom (z), and Vertical Type. NLE mode's undo and redo move to the Edit menu (Cmd+Z, Cmd+Shift+Z), as in Premiere.
- Remix retimes a music clip to a dragged length, keeping how it starts and ends and cutting where the music matches.
- Rate-stretched clips show their speed after their name, as in Premiere.
- Shift+Razor cuts every track.
- A Type tool (t): click the player to write text there, then type it in Properties.
- Text can be written vertically, in columns of upright characters.
- Text shows on the player as it's typed.
- The web app writes text and burns subtitles too. Text that names no font is written in Rubik; for Chinese, Japanese, or Korean, add a font that has them to Media Sources.
- Drag a selected overlay or text clip on the player to move it; animated clips get a Position keyframe at the playhead.
- Click a keyframe to select it; Delete removes it.
- Speed, margin, and other settings re-plan the timeline while they're dragged, not only after.
- Draws with Metal on macOS and Direct3D 12 or Vulkan on Windows, using less memory. OpenGL remains the fallback on Windows.
- Uses less memory in Chinese and Japanese.
- Choose the UI language in Preferences, instead of following the system's. It changes at once, menus included.
- Font files go in Media Sources, and Text and Burn subtitles pick their font from a menu of them, or System. Saved .bap bundles include the fonts.
- The default layout's timeline is tall enough for NLE mode's toolbar in one column.
- Chinese, Japanese, and Korean text shows in any UI language, not only in Chinese or Japanese.
- Offered updates install on Windows, and a long update error no longer pushes the dialog off the screen.
- Chinese and Japanese text no longer stands taller than the English beside it.
- Long translations no longer push Export's buttons off the panel or misalign its fields, and effects' field names and choices are translated.
